Shape Shifter
Dear creative people…
It's okay.
Writing seems to take forever, your hand gets tired,
schoolwork piles up, and the last thing you want to do is pick up a pencil.
Let's fix that.
Good news:
When letters begin and end in the proper places,
handwriting is much easier than you might think.
Shape Shifting:
Every letter starts with a shape.
That shape shifts to form the rest of the letter.
That's why it's called Shape Shifting.
There are really only 3 or 4 of these shapes.
Set a schedule.
For this to work, you have to practice EVERY DAY.
Don't move onto a new group of letters
until you’ve mastered the one you're on.
Don’t stress out, but push yourself.
The more you practice, the sooner you’ll be
on the road to writing your own personal masterpieces.

Printing
Lowercase
This first group of shapeshifters starts just below the middle line. I call them the c group because they all begin by writing the c.

The "c" Group: c - a - d - g - q - o - s

The "i" Group: i - j - u - r -n - m - p

These shapeshifters start directly on the middle line and head straight south to the bottom line. The j and p go below it.
The "v" Group: v - w - x - y
The final group starts directly on the middle line and moves diagonally southeast to the bottom line.

The "e & z" Group
These two are different from the rest. They both start with a dash going from left to right. The e’s dash begins just below the middle line, and the z’s dash begins directly on the middle line.

The "l" Group: l - h - b - k -t - f
This group starts at the top and heads straight south to the bottom line. The f starts with a candy cane first.

Uppercase
These shapeshifters are just like their lowercase versions. The only difference is, rather than starting just below the middle line, they start just below the top line.

The "C" Group: C - G - O - Q - S

The "V" Group: V - W - X - Y - Z

Just like their lowercase versions, these start at the top line and go southeast. Except for the Z, which I put here because there are no other letters like it, and I didn't want to separate it from its friends at the end of the alphabet.
The "P" Group: P - R - B - D
These shapeshifters go from top to bottom, then back up the same line to the top before curving to the right.

The "K & H" Group: K - H
These two go from top to bottom, but other than that, they don't have much in common with the other groups. But at least they have each other.

These are the only uppercase letters that start on the bottom line. The A and the M both immediately head northeast, while the N heads straight north. Oh, and to cross the A, go left to right.

All of these shapeshifters start at the top line and head straight south. E is the only one that requires more than one movement. Unless you cross your J... and if you do, go left to right!
The "T" Group: T - F - I
Just like the P group, these shapeshifters go from top to bottom, but you take your pencil off the paper before going back to the top.
